Pre-4th of July

Every year for the 4th of July, we usually go to our friend's Don house in Dana Point and watch fireworks. This year, he had a wedding to go to on the 4th, so we had our celebration the day before. It's always a good time at Don's house and the boys have so much fun together while the girls sit around and chat. This time was no different!

My Baby Shower

On Sunday, I had my baby shower. It turned out really great. I couldn't have asked for more! It was a tea party theme with tea sandwiches and scones and lots of little desserts. Everything was so delicious! 

I scored big with the gifts! I think we got just about everything we needed and more. We are so thankful for this, because we really didn't have much of anything.

My guests were awesome and I am so thankful to those who came. I had a great time and I feel more ready and prepared to pop this little guy out now. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special!

Gingerbread House Party

Last Saturday, we had a couple of friends over for the third annual Gingerbread House Making Party. It was so much fun just enjoying a few beverages, treats, and each other company. Mine and Ian's house fell apart, because I was too impatient to wait for the frosting to dry on the walls, so I just slathered it in candy. I can't wait to do it again next year!

Halloween

For Halloween, we put our costumes back on and went to our good friend, Don's house. I was a hideous chola gangster mexican again, but Ian decided to change his costume up and add a mullet wig. Later in the night, everyone switched up their wigs and Ian put an afro wig on. I think he looked like Will Ferrel in that basketball movie. It was pretty hilarious!

Pumpkin Carving

This year we carved pumpkins at the Sukraws' house. This is the third year in a row that all three of us couples have carved pumpkins together. Ian made his pumpkin "Jack" from the nightmare before Christmas. My pumpkin was a very tiny one, because someone stole our uncarved pumpkins and I just decided to use one of our decoration ones instead of buying another one. We also decided to make carmel apples this year! They were so much fun and were very tasty too!
