On Saturday, we threw our friend Jocelyn a birthday party to celebrate her 25th birthday. Since it is so close to Halloween, we decided it should be a costume party. We had a blast!
These two decided to be marathon runners, but only if they did it together!
My friend's sister had a baby last Wednesday and I got to go over and take pictures this weekend. This was my first photo shoot of a baby and I definitely need more practice, but here are a few of my favorites so far.
Ian and I recently bought a new camera lens. I needed some practice with it and I have wanted to take "chef" pictures of him for quite some time, so I did both! I think they turned out pretty good. He looks extremely handsome in them! He doesn't even realize it, but he is an amazing chef. I am so proud of him. By the way, he started his new job at the Pelican Hill Resort!
This past weekend, Ian and I went camping with, who else, but the Sukraws! We went to a campground off Ortega Highway because it was close and we were on a budget. I would not recommend going there though. Little did we know, it was the local teenage hangout! Both nights we had to deal with underage, drunk kids being loud and obnoxious. Other than that and the bugs, we had a good time hanging out with our friends.
After a little of this(see above)you get this (see below).
This is called jowling. You make the muscles in your face loose and shake your head side to side as hard as you can. The camera freezes your face at some point and you get awesome pictures like this!
The next morning. This little (big) guy would not leave us alone. We named him Phillip. He was actually quite creepy and we thought we might have been the first to discover him, but we looked him up when we got home and it turns out he is just a large june bug beetle.
